QUESTIONS

Q. How old do you have to be to go to the senior center?

A. The Senior Meals program targets adults 60 years of age or older but participation in most programs is available to all aging adults.

Q. Are there any dues or fees to join senior center?

A. No!  The Champlain Senior Center is pleased to offer most services at no charge.  Exceptions include the suggested lunch donation and occasional nominal costs associated with off-site trips or occasional programs.

Q. How much does lunch at the Senior Center cost?

A. A hot meal, available for a suggested donation of $3.00 is served Monday through Friday from 11:30-12:30.

Q. How do I sign up for lunch?

A. Just call the Center at 658-3585 by noon on the day prior to when you would like to come in for lunch. 

Q. Do you have to live in Burlington?

A. No you do not. Anyone is welcome to come and join us as.  If you live outside of Burlington, you will need to have your own transportation arrangements.

Q. Is transportation available?

A. Transportation is provided to the Champlain Senior Center for those living in the Burlington area. Call us at 658-3585 or SSTA at 655-7880 for more information on this service.
